I've collected treasures on my adventures and infused them into my art. Rusted collage paper created from objects found in Northern Ontario, book text from Italy, charcoal pencil bought in Spain, b&w collage paper created at my log cabin near Perth, Ontario, gold paint pen from Quebec and throwing painting in my studio in Ottawa, Canada. All created on heavy mixed media art paper.
These originals are all about enjoying the adventure, savouring the moment and trusting the journey where ever it may lead you. Grow, push yourself, trust; you never know how each path leads you to something even more magical. Each piece has a story told with layers of collage, watercolour, acrylic, burlap and marks that are then sealed with varnish for protection.
